“Everyone deserves to know who they are, to love who they are with, and to find fulfillment in what they do.”

People seek therapy because they are feeling sad, worried, angry, or stuck, or are experiencing problems in relationships and/or work, or may be overwhelmed by transitions and change. While many of you may be tempted to push the feelings from these thoughts and experiences aside, I encourage you to listen to them as they are like a compass guiding us to what you may be needing.

Additionally, we all have developed ways of operating and being in the world from our own, often unconscious, early experiences. These ways of operating served us well when we were young, but now may no longer be working as well in the present and may be causing us difficulties. I can help you to explore and understand your feelings and these unspoken assumptions, and to develop new ways of operating, that will lead to a happier, more fulfilling life. I strive to help people feel more emotionally present in their lives and their relationships.

I have a very direct, active and open style and many clients find my approach very collaborative and effective. I have helped people deal with a number of mental health issues such as:

  • Depression
  • General anxiety
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Trauma and grief
  • ADHD
  • Social phobias
  • Panic disorders
  • Relationship issues
  • Career and work issues
  • Recovery from drug, alcohol and pornography addictions

I also enjoy supporting engaged couples and provide premarital counseling.
